On March 23, 2023, when it rained, the demolition and restoration work began in the morning. This is because there was a part where the plaster and the undercoat soil that was the base of the plaster had fallen off due to the humidity. Junji Miyaoku (Miyaoku Plastering Industry) will be in charge of the restoration. As you can see in the photo, the work on the first day was done as shown in the second photo where Okudosan’s plaster was removed. The work continued the next day, and two of the both sides standing stones were also replaced.

This time, the restoration work of the Yamazaki house will be recorded, so I am asking them to show it at the end of the year’s Okudosan Summit. Furthermore, I would appreciate it if you could deepen your love for Okudosan.

Akiko Habara and Hideaki Takemoto will be in charge of the recording team led by Junji Miyaoku. Both of them are also members of “Okudosan Miraishu”, which is very encouraging.

At the Yamazaki house, construction is progressing smoothly. Okudosan’s dismantling and restoration work was also observed by Iriyama Tofu Shop.

Although it was a short time this time, I am very impressed that I was able to be there at the scene. I can feel the affection I have for Mr. Miyaoku and three persons.

In case of Okudosan says, “Return to the soil,” and does not say to crush it. Restoring the Okudosan inherited from ancestors is also about leaving behind the former soul and breathing new soul into it. I feel that Mr. Miyaoku’s spirit and the spirit of his predecessors are passing the baton through Okudo-san.
