The sand of Bodai Falls is also powerful sand, and it is a power spot in Kyoto where ancient wisdom and cutting-edge quantum mechanics technology are fused. Kyoto, where ancient wisdom overlaps, is crossed with modern science, and by promoting this, a new era may be opened. This is truly a message from Kyoto with a mind shift.

The people of Kyoto have sensitive emotional and palate senses, and have the power to draw out the power of nature. A dyer who has restored a secret dyeing method by creating water that is as close to ancient as possible, a long-established gluten shop that dug a well by hand, a tea shop that has used an okudosan for over 1,000 years and makes aburi mochi in the same way as in the Heian period, a tea shop that has used an okudosan to cook rice every day for 400 years, and the reason for protecting and passing on the methods handed down from ancient times, rather than convenience, is because they are delicious.

Bodai Falls is a super spot in Kyoto and can be said to be the roots of Kyoto ventures. If we can find other historical spots like this in Kyoto and combine tourism and industry, we can create even more new tourist spots in Kyoto.

As part of the Kyoto Suzume School “Kyoto wood and spirit story” curriculum, we held a course on polishing Kitayama cedar with sand from Bodai Falls. Of course, the students were able to see the unique Kitayama cedar efforts in the Nakagawa area and were impressed by the amazing power of nature.

The unique Kitayama cedar cultivation method, called daisugi training, which allows dozens of trunks to be grown from a single trunk, could be used in agriculture and forestry. Visiting the site should provide some clues.

Kyocera, a representative Kyoto venture company, was originally founded by someone who worked for a pottery company in Kyoto. It is said that fire was the catalyst for the evolution of civilization since the Jomon period, but today, the second fire, AI, will be the catalyst for evolution.

”How can we preserve and preserve the beautiful nature of Kyoto and pass it on to future generations?” was the thought that Yasunari Kawabata had throughout his life, according to a speech given by Kaori Kawabata, former chairman of the Kawabata Yasunari Memorial Association, at the Kyo-Suzume School’s “Opening Lecture on the Love Story of Kyoto” and “The Kyoto that Yasunari Kawabata Loved” lectures.
