July is also known as the Gion Festival, also known as the Hamo Matsuri, and Kyoto chefs have devised delicious conger eel preparations that are served in July. Preparations for the Gion Festival began in late June in Rakuchu. Gion Festival lanterns decorate the entrances and sidewalks of companies, companies and hotels, and the sidewalks are dyed in the colors of the Gion Festival. When you get off at the platform of Hankyu Railway, the musical accompaniment of the Gion Festival has been playing from the 1st at Karasuma Station and Kawaramachi Station platforms. I once asked Hankyu Electric Railway about it, and they said that they purchase music for the music from a company that sells music. I have received it.

Also, when I visit a restaurant in Kyoto in July, I am sure to be served a conger dish accompanied by a bill that says “Somin future descendant.” Also included is a small fan stuck in a toothpick with the crest of Yasaka Shrine. As for the chopstick rests, I am using the Gion Festival chopstick rests at home in July. Also, the Gion Matsuri-limited sake is sold only this July. Matsui Sake Brewery’s “Gion Hayashi” was served cold due to the mellowness of sake and the summer sake.
